Poetry that uses nature-based imagery is most welcome here, though any writing that challenges, surprises, and delights the imagination will be considered. The press is partial to the work of W.S. Merwin, James Wright, Robert Penn Warren, Joanna Klink, and Charles Wright, and, in the world of fiction, to writers such as Graham Greene and Cormac McCarthy.
NorthShore Press was established to make more literature available in book formto help balance the disparity between the many fine collections being written and those that are printed. Please read carefully the Submission Guidelines and browse the books and authors listed under NorthShore Press Books. To purchase a book please visit either Snail Mail Purchases or Canvas Bag, which allows online purchases through Alaska’s independent bookstore, Fireside Books. Clicking on Audio Selections gives you the option of hearing authors read their original work. For information about upcoming readings or newsworthy items regarding author awards or issues of interest to poets at large, visit Events and Announcements. If you wish to contact the publisher, please click here: Contact NorthShorePress.
Thanks for browsing, submitting, or supporting us through the purchase of our books. Quality literature is important, and remember, if you are looking for something special for holidays or birthdays, there is no better gift than the gift of poetry.
